Our fractional scanner can be bought as an integrated unit, combining both
the CO2 laser and the
scanner unit. If you already have a laser you can buy the
scanner separately – Photonova's Photofractional Scanner will work
with most laser systems on the market.
Treatments
Using a CO2 laser system equipped with Photonova's PhotoFractional,
you can perform the following treatments, on all types of skin:
Skin rejuvenation (skin resurfacing)

Photo Nova PhotoFractional is a new method to treat damaged skin. It smooths
out wrinkles and fine lines on your face, even around the eyes. Sun-damaged
skin can be improved, texture and hue of the skin improves. Pigmentation
(brown spots) can be bleached in the face and neck, chest, back, forearms and
hands.
Photonova PhotoFractional creates small, very precise points of heat on the
skin, thereby heating only the skin up that really should be treated. Every
little spot (a micro thermal zone) can be as small as 0.2 millimeters.
The PhotoFractional scanner assembles the tiny spots together in a pattern
that is selected depending on treatment and on how the damaged skin looks.
Each spot stimulates the body's own collagen production in the skin,
and also removes the pigmented cells in the epidermis.
The adjacent skin, which remains untreated, contains healthy and viable
cells, this accelerates the healing of the treated areas. Only twenty percent
of the skin is struck by laser light and therefore the recovery time after
treatment is minimal.
